I’m really excited to share my freshest “Love, Dad” column from Montana Parent. This piece is near and dear to my heart and it’s a little teaser for my next big project, a girl power/anti-misogyny manifesto.

I’m a big believer that we should all be feminists, championing the cause and advocating on behalf of our daughters, wives, mothers, sisters, aunties and the global population of women who put up with far too much crap. This piece has a simple message that I share with Kamiah all the time: to do something like a girl is BADASS. Strong and sensitive, gritty and graceful, courageous and scared, these are the qualities that I hammer home with my little shadow and I’m more convinced than ever that girls make the world go around.
